Maintenance Director

Job Summary
Maintenance Director leads hands-on team to maintain the physical plant and essential mechanical, electrical, and SNF resident care equipment in safe operating condition. Responsibilities include diagnosing equipment malfunctions, coordinating and overseeing outside contractors and trades-people, managing the departmental budget, ordering supplies and tracking inventory, and ensuring compliance with applicable state and federal laws, codes, and life safety requirements. May supervise housekeeping and laundry departments.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of three (3) years physical plant and equipment experience in an institutional environment with supervisory or management responsibilities
- Certification in HVAC, plumbing, electrical preferred
