Job Summary
Manage all maintenance duties for the physical plant, ensuring the facility remains safe and in good repair for residents, staff, and visitors. Conduct preventative and restorative maintenance tasks while negotiating and contracting with outside vendors. Adhere to established Federal, State, County, and City codes and regulations. Requires 2+ years in health care maintenance, one year supervising others, a valid driver's license, and experience with electronic work order systems. Full-time role with competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and PTO at Peabody Health and Rehab in Peabody, KS.
Required Qualifications
- 2 + years' experience in health care related maintenance and plant operations
- One year of experience supervising others to include: setting performance expectations, coaching, motivating, promoting collaboration and teamwork, promoting company culture, managing change, providing performance feedback, delegating effectively, resolving conflicts, etc
- Must have valid driver's license, good driving record
- Ability to operate Windows 10 computer
- read, write, and speak English
- The ideal candidate will have performed the job duties of Maintenance Director in a Skilled Nursing Facility
- have experience using an electronic work order system
