Job Summary
Lead the maintenance team for the Marquis at Town Centre community by facilitating high-performance operations through frequent communication and coaching. Prepare make-ready apartments, complete service requests, and maintain inventory and shop organization while executing the preventative maintenance program. Provide feedback on work quality, review and analyze the property budget to ensure expenses stay within guidelines, and lead resident satisfaction programs. Communicate with residents, vendors, investors, and leadership, and participate in the CWS Risk Management and Safety Programs. Respond to emergency calls outside normal business hours and travel within major metropolitan areas.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- EPA, state, HVAC and local certifications
- Pool and other state and local certifications
- Minimum 2- 4 years previous full-time work experience in apartment maintenance, or a trade that requires basic knowledge of electricity, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and HVAC
- Valid driver's license
- Current automobile insurance
- Basic set of hand tools
- Ability to read service requests, schedules, and regularly converse with team members, residents, and vendors in English
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to adhere to company policies, procedures, and practices
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Ability to maintain a professional and ethical atmosphere
- Supervisory/managerial skills
- Ability to perform work responsibilities at locations other than home property
- Ability to travel within major metropolitan areas and may be required to attend company functions in other cities
- Ability to respond to emergency calls outside of normal business hours
