Job Summary
Oversee the overall operation and safety of the Manderley Healthcare Center skilled nursing facility by maintaining building systems, life safety equipment, and emergency power generators. Perform general repairs including drywall and painting, service wheelchairs, and manage televisions and other facility equipment. Conduct regular facility rounds to identify maintenance and safety concerns, coordinate repairs, and ensure compliance with state regulations and fire marshal inspections. Maintain fire safety books, lead fire drills, and verify that disinfectants and supplies remain available for a clean, sanitary environment. Ensure environmental services personnel follow safety rules and universal precautions.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience
- Maintenance experience in a supervisory capacity
Desired Qualifications
- Training in environmental control practices and procedures
- Previous medical or long-term care experience
