Job Summary
Maintenance Director responsible for supervising the maintenance department and ensuring the efficient function of the physical plant, environmental systems, and grounds. Responsibilities include scheduling repairs, managing the Life Safety and maintenance activities via the TELS system, directing utility-system maintenance, developing preventive maintenance programs, preparing and monitoring the department budget, recommending operational improvements, requisitioning tools and supplies, coordinating with design engineers, maintaining attractive grounds, and ensuring courteous, professional service to residents, Care Team Members, vendors, visitors, and families. Requires high school diploma or equivalent (technical/trade school preferred), proficiency with Microsoft Office, and 3 years of building maintenance with 1 year of supervisory experience preferred; ability to lead maintenance operations and uphold compliance with state/federal guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, preferred but not required
- Graduation from an appropriate technical/trade school preferred, but not required
- Three years of experience in building maintenance; one year of supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to use computers and the Microsoft Office suite of applications
