Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day maintenance of the facility and grounds, coordinating preventive maintenance, repairs, and mechanical system upkeep. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations while monitoring sewer plant operations and maintaining required documentation. Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies and coordinate with outside vendors and contractors as needed. Help ensure a safe, comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors. Must be available for after-hours emergency calls and possess strong troubleshooting and organizational skills.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience
- Must be dependable
- Must be able to work independently
- Must be available for after-hours emergency calls as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a healthcare or long-term care facility
- Experience with sewer plant operations and state regulations
- Strong knowledge of building maintenance, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations, Life Safety Code, and facility safety requirements
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Good organizational and communication skills
