Job Summary
Maintenance Director oversees the maintenance department in a post-acute care setting, plans and directs preventive maintenance programs, inspects equipment and systems for safety, recruits and supervises maintenance staff, manages budgets, assists in patient evacuation, and ensures compliance with Life Care standards and applicable laws. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least two years of maintenance experience, proficiency with mechanical/electrical/plumbing systems, ability to read blueprints, knowledge of building codes, and strong communication and teamwork within an interdisciplinary environment.
