Job Summary
The Maintenance Director oversees the maintenance department’s operations, staffing, and scheduling; ensures a safe, well-maintained facility; develops and enforces preventative maintenance programs; coordinates with outside services and vendors; conducts regular rounds, inspections, and reports; maintains building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry) and fire protection; manages inventory and budgets; prepares written reports and plans, and serves on-call 24/7 for emergencies; leads maintenance staff, recruits and evaluates personnel, and ensures compliance with regulations and company policies.
