Job Summary
Maintenance Director responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of the facility's physical structure and equipment in a Skilled Nursing Facility. Responsibilities include inspecting and reporting on equipment and facilities, coordinating with contractors and vendors, developing maintenance schedules and budgets, ensuring compliance with fire safety, life safety, and accessibility standards, collaborating with other departments, and providing training and guidance to maintenance staff. Requires 2+ years of experience in a related role, strong maintenance knowledge, and proven communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities; must be able to work independently and as part of a team and perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving equipment.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Director or in a related role
- Strong understanding of maintenance and repair principles and practices
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
