Job Summary
Maintenance Director oversees the maintenance department for a residential facility, ensuring building and grounds are safe and well-maintained, supervising laundry and housekeeping staff, coordinating with outside vendors, managing budgets, and enforcing safety standards (OSHA, fire codes). Responsible for preventive maintenance, fire safety planning, and directing staff scheduling, with on-call emergency maintenance support and liaison with authorities as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Four or more years maintenance experience, preferably in health care
- HVAC certificate preferred
- Valid driver’s license, CDL required
- CPR preferred
