Job Summary
Maintenance Director for a skilled-nursing facility responsible for leading maintenance operations, ensuring survey-readiness and Life Safety Code compliance, overseeing preventative maintenance programs, and managing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and emergency systems. Leads vendor/contractor coordination, collaborates with leadership to maintain a safe environment for residents and staff, and handles urgent maintenance needs and on-call situations to keep the building running at the highest standard.
Required Qualifications
- Maintenance Director or Supervisor experience REQUIRED
- Healthcare, skilled nursing, or regulated facility experience REQUIRED
- Strong knowledge of Life Safety Code, OSHA, and compliance standards
- Hands-on experience with building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
