Job Summary
Oversee community cleanliness, life safety, and operational functioning in compliance with local, OSHA, state, and federal regulations. Coordinate elder maintenance and housekeeping needs with the Administrator and leadership team while managing outside contracts for elevators, HVAC, hot water, landscape, and other services. Handle maintenance requests, maintain a repair log, and ensure apartments are rent-ready after move-out. Conduct regular safety in-services for all staff and participate in new-team orientation covering life safety, evacuation drills, disaster planning, and MSDS. Assist in resident evacuations if needed and manage contracted services as required.
Required Qualifications
- Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Good verbal communication and the ability to read, write, and speak English with residents and coworkers who only speak English
- Ability to perform job responsibilities with or without accommodation
- Full time Monday through Friday 7:00a.m. to 3:30p.m.
- On call as needed for emergencies
