Job Summary
Oversee facility maintenance systems including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and carpentry while developing comprehensive plans to ensure safety and regulatory compliance. Coordinate daily activities with housekeeping, dietary, and nursing departments, and troubleshoot issues promptly. Manage and train a team of technicians, perform routine hazard inspections, and establish emergency procedures with facility management. This role supports Champion City Nursing & Rehabilitation's mission to provide exceptional care to residents and staff in Pittsburgh.
Required Qualifications
- 1 minimum years of experience as a maintenance director or supervisor in a healthcare setting
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- High school diploma or equivalent required
