Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day maintenance operations of the facility; perform preventive maintenance on equipment, grounds, and building; coordinate repairs for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, doors, windows, lighting; maintain resident rooms, common areas, offices, and outdoor spaces; ensure sidewalks, parking lots, landscaping, and exterior areas are safe and maintained; monitor building systems including fire alarms and sprinklers; lead maintenance team and manage emergency calls. Requires strong technical and mechanical skills, experience in light carpentry and plumbing, familiarity with NFPA Life Safety Code, and availability for on-call nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Good technical and mechanical skills
- Experience in light carpentry and plumbing
- Experience with maintaining HVAC systems preferred
- Must be familiar with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Life Safety Code (LSC) rules and recordkeeping
- Must be available for emergency calls such as night, weekends, and holidays
