Job Summary
Lead and optimize Barnhart's nationwide fleet maintenance program across locations to ensure operational readiness, safety, and regulatory compliance while driving efficiency and continuous improvement. Drive performance through weekly maintenance reviews, partner with IT to enhance maintenance systems and reporting, support branch maintenance teams, collaborate with Regional Directors on proactive plans, and coordinate with service centers (Fleet Services, DOT Compliance, Safety & Quality). Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent with proven fleet-maintenance management experience, plus strong leadership, Excel, and analytical skills. This role supports a network of over 60 branches across the U.S. and offers competitive salary and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Proven experience managing fleet maintenance programs, preferably in a multi-site environment
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills preferred
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and process improvement
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
