Job Summary
Perform minor fixes, including repairing broken locks and wall damage, while installing necessary appliances and equipment. Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues, then inspect and troubleshoot various equipment and systems. Maintain grounds through lawn mowing, trimming, and trash collection, alongside cleaning duties like dusting and mopping. Replace light bulbs and test the functionality of the facility's safety systems. Report resolved issues, those needing attention, and tasks currently in progress to the facilities or maintenance manager. This role supports the continued success of the Dairy Queen Brand by ensuring facilities remain tidy and functional.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a maintenance worker or other similar position
- Experience working with tools, including hand and electrical tools
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Must have ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to contribute to a fun and friendly culture that thrives off of productivity and helping others
