Job Summary
Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; dust surfaces, clean windows, and maintain furniture to ensure a hygienic environment. Sanitize restroom fixtures, replenish supplies, and manage trash and recycling bins according to regulations. Operate floor cleaning machines to strip, wax, and polish surfaces, while performing minor repairs like changing light bulbs and replacing air filters. Assist with event setup and breakdown, moving furniture and equipment as needed. Use cleaning chemicals safely, maintain inventory, and report major repair needs or safety hazards. Requires physical stamina to lift up to 80 pounds, climb, and kneel. Shifts include evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays; driving company vehicles or using industrial equipment may be involved.
Required Qualifications
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift up to 80 pounds, climb, kneel, or crouch as required
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team, follow instructions, and adapt to changing priorities
- Knowledge of safety procedures, including OSHA compliance and safe handling of chemicals
- Basic computer, telephone, and office equipment skills
