Job Summary
Lead a team of Aircraft Maintenance Technicians to ensure maintenance is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with FAA, OEM, and FlyExclusive standards. Oversee daily workflow, assign tasks, provide technical guidance, and ensure aircraft are returned to service on time. Lead inspections, repairs, troubleshooting, and component replacement, review completed work for accuracy and compliance, and maintain documentation integrity. Coordinate with Planning, Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Parts; communicate aircraft status, manpower needs, and potential delays; interpret AMMs, engineering documents, and service bulletins. Ensure all actions meet FAA regulations and FlyExclusive standards, and support internal/external audits. Must mentor and supervise technicians, conduct pre-shift meetings, and uphold safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate required
- 5+ years of aircraft maintenance experience
- Lead technician or leadership experience preferred
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical data, drawings, and manuals
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
