Job Summary
Create weekly maintenance schedules for three shifts, adjust plans for preventive and reactive work, and coordinate priorities with the Maintenance Manager and Production Schedulers. Develop job material lists, manage parts kitting and issuing, and generate purchase orders for maintenance supplies. Install Kanban systems to control inventory, troubleshoot equipment issues, and analyze CMMS data to determine root causes of downtime. Participate in Lock-out/Tag-out audits, safety committees, and continuous improvement activities. Requires 5-7 years of maintenance experience, proficiency in MS Office and CMMS, and ability to lift 40 pounds occasionally.
Required Qualifications
- 5-7 years of relevant work experience in a maintenance role
- Maintenance planning, scheduling and procurement experience
- Basic understanding of machine and facility maintenance
- Working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems
- Proficient in MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel
- Prior experience with a CMMS
- Ability to read prints and schematics
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds on an occasional basis
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organization and follow-through skills
- Attentive to details, organized, works well under pressure, and meets deadlines
- Collaborative and constructive relationship with maintenance team, operations team and vendors
- Self-starter who is comfortable communicating with both the maintenance techs and the maintenance manager
- Team-player who will work to solve problems at all levels
