Job Summary
Lead and coordinate maintenance operations across two Jaybird Senior Living Communities to keep facilities, grounds, and equipment safe, functional, and visually appealing. Responsibilities include implementing and documenting preventative maintenance programs, supervising maintenance and housekeeping staff, maintaining interior and exterior areas, refurbishing apartments for move-ins (painting, flooring, ceiling fans), maintaining and repairing facility equipment including fire safety and emergency systems, inspecting apartments for hazards, performing janitorial tasks as needed, and transporting residents in company vehicles while responding to emergencies as required.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or accredited maintenance training with relevant experience
- Applicable state licensure; Chauffeur License within 30 days of hire
- Strong interpersonal, computer, and customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules, travel locally, and periodically overnight
