Maintenance Coordinator / Service Advisor

Job Summary
Maintain and update daily records of repairs and deliveries, while handling inbound calls for internal and external service requests. Review expense reports from mechanics, approve open service work orders, and ensure accurate real-time statuses on all shop activities. Manage stockroom receipts, withdrawals, and telematics inventory, preparing customer invoices and tracking deductions. Inspect incoming and outgoing deliveries for damage or discrepancies, examine ordered parts, and schedule trucks for installations. Track truck and trailer parts inventory, order necessary components, and enter order information into the computerized service system to ensure accurate billing. Ensure compliance and accurate documentation for audits. Work with a positive attitude to communicate effectively with customers, manage OOS truck and trailer reports, and assist the parts department in routine inventory counts.
Required Qualifications
- College diploma or University degree preferred
- Must have had a minimum of 1+ years in a coordination role
- Must have had a minimum of 1+ years in a coordination role, preferably in the service and repair industry
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast paced, dynamic work environment
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in Heavy Truck/ Automotive Industry
- Previous experience in ordering parts/ parts coordination
