Maintenance Coordinator

Job Summary

Manage a portfolio of planned and responsive maintenance works from commencement to completion, including performing initial scoping, scheduling trades, managing subcontractors, and reviewing completed works for compliance. Coordinate diverse projects across residential building sites in the Western Country region, ensuring tasks are completed within set timeframes while building relationships with stakeholders. This role involves fortnightly regional travel and requires strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with operations teams and clients. You will gain exposure to various facilities maintenance activities including emergency repairs, property surveys, and construction services.

Required Qualifications

  • OHS General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
  • National Police Check
  • Successful completion of a medical check, including Alcohol and other Drugs screening
  • Must be willing and able to obtain OHS General Construction Induction Card (White Card) prior to commencement
  • Must be willing and able to obtain National Police Check prior to commencement
  • Must be willing and able to obtain successful completion of a medical check, including Alcohol and other Drugs screening prior to commencement
  • Must be available for fortnightly regional travel throughout the Western Country region which encompasses Port Lincoln, Ceduna, Kooniba and Yalata
  • Must be able to travel to various sites throughout the regions
  • Must be able to work a standard working week of 40 hours, Monday to Friday
  • Must be able to manage a portfolio of planned and responsive maintenance works from commencement to completion
  • Must be able to perform the initial scoping of works
  • Must be able to schedule and allocate works to trades
  • Must be able to manage subcontractors
  • Must be able to review completed works to ensure compliance
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have excellent attention to detail
  • Must be adept at managing various competing demands to ensure works are completed in line with set timeframes
  • Must be a strong communicator (both written and verbal)
  • Must possess the people skills required to build positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Must be an effective collaborator
  • Must be highly autonomous
  • Must be able to manage work without direction or supervision
  • Must demonstrate a detailed understanding of the residential building industry
  • Must have experience working in a hands-on trade-based role
  • Must have previous experience in the facilities maintenance industry or a project supervisor role
