Job Summary
Coordinate and optimize maintenance inventory systems by receiving, tagging, and inventorying parts daily. Organize existing stock through labeling and QR codes, determine spare part needs, and set min/max levels based on CMMS usage data. Audit weekly inventory counts in Limble, monitor non-stock items, and communicate with the Baltimore parts clerk for quoting and ordering. Maintain equipment asset information, coordinate contractor schedules, and stage parts for larger projects. Lead cost-saving efforts by identifying compatible replacements for OEM parts and ensure parts availability for preventive maintenance schedules.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years experience as an inventory clerk with an industrial maintenance team
- Strong organization skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to be proactive
- Self-directed
- Experience with Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Microsoft Teams
- Ability to identify common parts including: Motors, gearboxes, bearings, chain, belts, pneumatic solenoids, sanitary piping, PLCs, HMIs, Seals and gaskets, pumps
- Ability to lift up to 40lbs
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Previous project management experience
- Skilled and knowledgeable on any Computerize Maintenance Management Systems (previous use of Limble a plus)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Industrial food processing experience
