Job Summary
Act as liaison between Management and Maintenance, coordinating the make-ready process for new move-ins and leasing while monitoring quality of make readies. Maintain organized Resident Service Request files, input complete work orders into Key Trac, and report observed maintenance problems. Assist in scheduling outside contractors, coordinate upgrades in designated units, and ensure the community sales team has adequate leaseable units. Monitor timely completion of resident service requests and participate in ongoing community improvement and preventative maintenance programs. Adhere to company safety policies, Fair Housing laws, and all procedures outlined in the Operations Manual. Works over-time, weekends, and holidays as required, with availability for transfer to another Highmark community.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, write and comprehend the English language
- Excellent telephone and communication skills
- Competent ability with personal computer, typewriter, calculator and fax machine
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Valid driver's license
- Frequently lifts and carries up to 35 lbs
- Has normal range of vision, hearing and speech
- Frequently walks the property, including climbing several flights of stairs
- Must have mode of communication in which to be contacted at home and respond in cases of emergency
- Must be prompt, on time for work and have good, regular attendance
- Must stay informed of all policies and procedures as outlined in the Operations Manual
- Must adhere to and comply with company safety policies and rules and utilize safety equipment, as required
- Must always be courteous and helpful to residents, prospective residents, co-workers and vendors
- Works over-time, weekend, holiday and evening work as required
- Must assist and attend resident functions
- Maintains working knowledge of Fair Housing laws, rules and regulations
- May be transferred or assigned to work at another Highmark community
