Job Summary
Maintenance Coordinator role focused on coordinating day-to-day maintenance services for client housing co-ops across BC. Responsibilities include processing maintenance work orders and inspection reports, assigning tasks to trades, following up with vendors and approving invoices, preparing daily/weekly/monthly tracking reports, assisting with client billing and receivables, maintaining organized records and client reports, attending client meetings and site visits, delivering excellent customer service and ensuring quality control. Requires 3–5 years in property/building maintenance, strong organizational skills, exceptional communication, proficiency with Microsoft Office, ability to work independently, with confidentiality and knowledge of housing co-ops as an asset. Based in Vancouver, BC with in-office (in-person) work arrangement and some travel around the lower mainland. Wage is $28.08 per hour with a 35-hour+ workweek expectations; living wage employer. Required Qualifications
- Three to five years of experience in property or building maintenance
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to work independently, take initiative and solve problems
- Professional demeanor with attention to detail and confidentiality
- Knowledge of housing co-ops or multi-unit residential buildings is an asset
- Performing other duties that is assigned by the Maintenance Team Supervisor and Director of Building Services
