Job Summary
Maintenance Controls Technician on 2nd shift responsible for diagnosing, repairing, calibrating, and maintaining automated manufacturing and quality assurance systems, including PLC-controlled machinery, process instrumentation, nuclear measurement/radiographic systems, and electromechanical equipment. Must read schematics, wiring diagrams, and vendor manuals; troubleshoot computer hardware/software and PLC software; document procedures and changes; collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams; install/modify equipment and update procedures; provide training and diagnostic assistance; uphold safety and housekeeping standards; and be willing to work off-shift with a supplemental $1/hour bonus. Minimum education/experience include an associate degree in electronics/instrumentation or equivalent training with multiple years of hands-on troubleshooting and maintenance experience; proficiency with test equipment (e.g., oscilloscope, multimeters), ladder logic, and state-of-the-art control systems. The role requires U.S. employment eligibility and may include occasional travel or shift flexibility.
Required Qualifications
- Technical school associate degree in electronics, instrumentation, or micro-electronic solid-state technology; or equivalent military, industrial, or college training with five years of experience in maintenance or fabrication of related industrial equipment.
