Job Summary
Maintain parts room for maintenance department, manage inventory levels and order replenishments using JDE; prepare parts/equipment kits and assist mechanics/electricians; track inventory, perform cycle counts, and support preventative maintenance schedules; enter data and generate reports, coordinate with Reliability Manager and Maintenance Planner to ensure timely parts delivery; requires high school diploma or GED and 1-3 years in manufacturing maintenance; proficient with JDE/CMMS; ability to read safety and operating manuals; strong organizational, data-entry and communication skills; willing to work night shift (12-hour) and in a temperature-variable environment; duties include reviewing and ordering raw materials, KPI data updates, and various administrative tasks.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or G.E.D.
- 1 to 3 years in manufacturing maintenance environment
- Ability to use computer and related software programs (JDE, CMMS, etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to maintain complex records and to assemble and organize data
- Possess some mechanical acumen to proactively identify parts and tools need to the Maintenance team
- Possess strong collaboration skills with stakeholders across functions
- Ability to set priorities, achieve deadlines, and manage multiple tasks at the same time
- Demonstrates strong organizational and time management skills
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills to deliver messages to customers and WestRock employees
- Must be able to work in a wide range of temperatures
