Job Summary
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the store by performing frequent sweeping, mopping, and daily washing of the sales floor. Assist customers in retrieving items from inaccessible areas or back rooms while handling transactions in a courteous, friendly manner. Execute various assignments including bottle returns, shelf maintenance, and minor repairs to keep the store the cleanest in the industry. Adhere to all safety policies, correct unsafe conditions, and comply with local, state, and federal health regulations. Work a scheduled shift based on business needs, occasionally assisting at the front end during busy times. Complete onboarding and e-learning checklists within 30 days of hire.
Required Qualifications
- Must demonstrate capability to interact with customers
- Must have a pleasant, outgoing, self-motivated personality
- Must demonstrate minimum mechanical skills
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English, with the ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work a scheduled based on the business needs of the store location
- Authorized to work within the U.S.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to climb up to 8 feet
- Must be able to kneel and crouch
- Must be able to bend, balance, stoop, and reach at waist or overhead
- Must be able to stand or walk on tile or concrete
- Must be able to handle, finger, feel, talk, see, hear, and smell
- Must be able to exercise proper safety practices when lifting or moving deliveries or using equipment
- Must maintain a neat, well-groomed personal appearance at all times
- Must observe company dress code
- Must successfully complete the onboarding/e-learnings and checklist within 30 days of hire/entering the department
