Maintenance Center Manager - ASU Domain

Job Summary

Maintain all facilities, pipelines, and equipment in compliance with governmental regulations and Air Liquide policies while ensuring safe work permit adherence. Lead the implementation of the AL turnaround standard operating procedure and a standard maintenance planning system, utilizing Maximo for asset and work management. Coordinate maintenance activities across sites, conduct root cause analysis investigations, and monitor effectiveness through KPIs. Manage maintenance costs within the authorized budget, optimize efficiency indicators, and participate in capital planning and multi-year forecasts. Conduct annual performance reviews, develop individual plans, and coach employees on safety behavior and TAR SOP compliance.

Required Qualifications

  • Mechanical / electrical engineering degree
  • 10+ years process industry experience
  • Valid employment authorization in the U.S.
  • Must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future
  • Technical and working understanding of the plant process – ASU, Cogen and CO2 or H2, Syngas and HyCO
  • Extensive experience with Maintenance Planning and Scheduling
  • Experience working within a maintenance system that requires both
  • Ability to lead and coach employees and peers in Air Liquide's TAR SOP
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements for operating and maintaining plants
  • Ability to lead and participate in root cause analysis investigations
  • Computer literacy – familiarity with Google suite of applications
  • Ability to remotely access Intranet
  • Ability to learn to use internal systems including Maximo and MS Project
  • Detailed knowledge of personnel and equipment planning and scheduling techniques
  • Ability to deliver and explain training material to maintenance personnel
  • Extremely organized and effective at time management
  • Ability to establish and maintain equipment filing system
  • Control of engineering documents
  • Ability to interpret key operating documents
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude for equipment operation and troubleshooting
  • Working knowledge of acoustic vibration technology as a predictive maintenance tool
  • Detailed understanding of maintenance and technology of gas compression equipment
  • Working knowledge of commercial agreements and AL customer relations
  • Excellent communication and team leadership skills
  • General understanding of accounting principles
  • Working knowledge of maintenance operating budget
  • Ability to work extended hours and shift work as business needs dictate
  • On call nights, weekends and holidays as required
