Job Summary
Maintain and repair community facilities as part of the Valley View Village Maintenance team. Perform routine maintenance, repairs, painting and drywalling, and implement a preventive maintenance program across the campus. Respond to maintenance requests from residents and staff, carry out projects with minimal supervision while supporting a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Duties include manual tasks, detailed project reporting, lawn care and snow removal as needed, and on-call availability. Requires 3-5 years of maintenance experience, ability to work independently and with a team, and proficiency with basic tools; experience in plumbing, electrical work, HVAC, and floor care is preferred. Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years maintenance experience required
- Prior experience in plumbing, electrical work, HVAC and/or floor care preferred
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred, but not required
- Must be available to work on-call as needed
- Able to use basic maintenance tools (hammer, pliers, screwdriver, drill)
- Able to perform basic carpentry and plumbing tasks
- Strong communication and organizational skills
