Job Summary
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment while diagnosing failures and performing preventive maintenance. Install, maintain, and repair production machinery, read schematics, and work on motors, drives, sensors, and PLC-controlled systems. Complete scheduled preventative tasks and respond quickly to breakdowns to minimize downtime, maintaining accurate work orders. Assist with equipment upgrades and continuous improvement projects while adhering to safety policies and lockout/tagout procedures. Work closely with production personnel to maximize reliability.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
Desired Qualifications
- Industrial Maintenance degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley preferred)
- Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, conveyor, and automated production systems
- Welding and fabrication experience
