Job Summary
Observe mechanical devices to locate trouble causes by listening to sounds and examining part textures. Dismantle devices to remove defective parts, adjust functional components, and lubricate or clean assemblies. Repairs or replaces defective parts using drill presses, grinders, and other metalworking tools to fabricate replacements. Installs special functional and structural parts, then starts devices to test performance. Follow written and oral instructions while adhering to GMPs, SOPs, and safety codes. Work as a team player to ensure product specifications are attained and assist other departments as assigned. Complete a general knowledge placement test with a satisfactory score. Full-time 2nd shift position in Forrest City, AR.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Computer literate to the completing of daily work within a CMMS system
- Industrial maintenance experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of basic industrial mechanical systems, electricity and utilities
- Ability to diagnose industrial mechanical systems, equipment and utilities problems
- Strong knowledge of shop equipment set up and operation
- Strong TIG or stick welding experience
- Must be able to follow written and oral instructions
- Must work as a team player
- Must follow Company's GMP's, SOP's, plant rules, other policies and codes of conduct
Desired Qualifications
- Industrial maintenance experience preferred
