Job Summary
Weekend Day Shift Maintenance Automation Technician responsible for monitoring and maintaining production systems, PLC programming, and general control-system duties. Primary responsibilities include reacting to down equipment, performing preventative maintenance with maintenance/operations teams, troubleshooting PLC/control networks, reviewing and modifying PLC hardware and programs, inspecting equipment, auditing processes for efficiency, assisting with new processes and equipment commissioning, and maintaining clear change-management documentation. Requires certification or coursework in industrial controls or PLC design, with prior industrial maintenance and PLC troubleshooting experience; experience with Siemens and Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, structured text/ladder logic/SFC/function blocks; ProLeit/Codex preferred; strong collaboration and communication skills; location Waunakee, WI; full-time weekend shift.
Required Qualifications
- Certification or course work in industrial controls systems or PLC design
- Prior industrial maintenance experience
- Prior experience troubleshooting industrial PLC/controls
- Prior experience with Siemens and Rockwell/Allen-Bradley
- Structured text, ladder logic, SFC, function blocks, etc.
- Prior experience with ProLeit, Codex, preferred
- Experience with low voltage and Ethernet communication
