Job Summary
Conduct preventative maintenance tasks, repairs, and general upkeep for hotel facilities, including refrigeration, heating, plumbing, and A/C units. Monitor electric, gas, and water consumption, log equipment findings, and ensure all maintenance projects meet specifications. Perform scheduled maintenance checks in guest rooms and public areas while maintaining workspace cleanliness. Respond to emergency situations, report safety concerns immediately, and follow lockout-tagout procedures. Maintain key inventory and adhere to security protocols. Work evenings, weekends, and holidays with potential on-call responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of maintenance systems, including refrigeration, heating, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Ability to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on equipment
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a timely manner
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required, with potential on-call responsibilities for emergencies
- Must be able to lift objects up to 50 lbs
