Maintenance Assistant responsible for operation, repair, and maintenance of boilers, compressors, generators, HVAC systems, electrical and plumbing systems; read blueprints and wiring schematics; knowledge of building codes and safety regulations; licensed; plan and carry out repair programs, new construction, and equipment installation; manage direct spending and labor budgets.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years’ experience in the operation of boilers, compressors, generators, and mechanical systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring schematics, etc.
- Knowledgeable in building codes, safety regulations, and maintenance practices
- Licensed in accordance with current applicable standards, codes, labor laws, etc.
- Ability to plan and carry out repair programs, new construction, and equipment installation
- Ability to control and track direct spending and labor budgets
