Job Summary
Ensure the facility environment remains clean, safe, and comfortable by supporting the Maintenance Department. Operate, repair, and maintain boilers, compressors, generators, HVAC systems, electrical, and plumbing systems in accordance with federal, state, and local standards. Read and interpret blueprints, wiring schematics, and building codes while planning repair programs, new construction, and equipment installation. Control direct spending and labor budgets. Requires 1-3 years of experience with mechanical systems and ability to read schematics. Licensed in accordance with current applicable standards.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-3 years' experience in the operation of boilers, compressors, generators, and mechanical systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring schematics, etc.
- Knowledgeable in building codes, safety regulations, and maintenance practices.
- Licensed in accordance with current applicable standards, codes, labor laws, etc.
- Ability to plan and carry out repair programs, new construction, and equipment installation.
- Ability to control and track direct spending and labor budgets.
