Job Summary
Travel to group homes to perform maintenance and repair work, including painting, patching walls, basic carpentry, plumbing fixes, appliance repairs, and electrical troubleshooting. Respond promptly to maintenance requests while prioritizing tasks effectively and conducting routine inspections throughout residential facilities. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while assisting with basic vehicle maintenance as needed. This hands-on role requires reliable transportation to travel between multiple group homes throughout the day.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of one year of maintenance, facilities, or handyman experience.
- Reliable transportation with the ability to travel between multiple group homes throughout the workday.
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, painting, appliance repair, and general building maintenance.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while working independently.
