Job Summary
Environmental Services Associate-Maintenance responsible for assisting in the general operational maintenance, repair, and housekeeping of the Community’s physical plant. Responsibilities include performing general maintenance work (light, electrical, painting, carpentry, etc.), operating and maintaining HVAC equipment, replenishing supplies, ensuring tools and workspaces are clean and properly stored, maintaining safety practices (OSHA), conducting daily inspections of buildings and equipment, managing a preventative maintenance schedule and work-order system, assisting with resident-care-related safety and confidentiality, processing invoices/spend-down reports, and performing other duties as required. The role emphasizes communication with the Environmental Services Director and team, safety adherence, and maintaining a clean, safe, and well-functioning environment for residents.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a High School Diploma
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License, preferably a Commercial Driver’s License
- Understands proper handling of biohazardous waste
- Able to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos
- Able to effectively write simple correspondence
- Basic familiarity with computers
- Physically able to bend and reach; push/pull and lift up to 60 pounds; stand for extended periods
