Job Summary
Maintenance Associate-Maintenance focused on general operational upkeep of the community’s physical plant, including light electrical, painting, carpentry, and HVAC-related tasks. Responsible for coordinating repairs, maintaining tools and work areas, keeping preventative maintenance logs, submitting invoices/spend-down reports, and supporting safety practices (OSHA) while ensuring resident comfort and cleanliness. The role emphasizes mechanical troubleshooting, routine inspections, and collaboration with the Environmental Services Director and team to maintain a safe, well-kept facility. Requires High School Diploma and a valid driver’s license; physical ability to perform duties including lifting up to 60 pounds and standing for extended periods.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License, preferably a Commercial Driver’s License
- Able to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos
- Basic familiarity with computers
- Able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other team members
- Physically able to bend and reach, push and pull and lift up to 60 pounds, stand for extended periods
