Job Summary
Maintenance Associate-Maintenance responsibilities include assisting in operational maintenance, repairs, and housekeeping of the community’s physical plant; operate and maintain HVAC and related systems; maintain supply levels; ensure tools and areas are clean and safe; schedule and manage preventative maintenance; maintain a work-order system and prepare weekly invoices/spend-down reports; participate in in-service training; ensure safety practices per OSHA; support resident environment and event cleanup; interacts with Environmental Services Director; requires ability to read, write, and use basic computer tools; high school diploma and valid driver’s license required; part-time role located in the Boca Raton/Pompano Beach area.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a High School Diploma
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License (preferably a Commercial Driver’s License)
- Knowledge of maintenance and housekeeping policies and procedures
- Understanding of OSHA safety practices
- Able to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos
- Basic familiarity with computers
- Able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other team members
- Physically able to bend and reach; able to push and pull and lift up to 60 pounds; able to stand for extended periods
