Job Summary
Conduct daily maintenance checks on the Banff Gondola and perform upkeep on buildings, grounds, and lift terminals, including snow shoveling and equipment operation. Execute basic repairs and assist supervisors with major fixes while adhering to safe work practices. Provide high-quality customer service to guests and interact frequently with coworkers and management. Report to the Operations Manager to complete assigned projects and tasks. Maintain a current Alberta Driver's License and be prepared to lift up to 100lbs occasionally. This role supports Pursuit's iconic destination experiences in the Canadian Rockies, fostering a community where work and adventure coexist.
Required Qualifications
- Current Alberta Driver's License
- Able to speak, read, write and understand English
- Proven ability to work within strict policy/procedures and guidelines
- Able to lift up to 20lbs (frequently) up to 100lbs (occasionally)
- Must consent to a criminal record check
Desired Qualifications
- Prior maintenance experience
- Previous trade experience (Basic Carpentry, plumbing or Mechanical)
- Lift operations experience
- First Aid training
- Leadership qualities
- Ability to take direction under stressful conditions
- Self-starter who is able to work independently with minimal supervision
