Job Summary
Maintenance Assistant for community facilities responsible for physical plant, grounds and equipment to ensure a safe environment. Responsibilities include grounds maintenance (mowing, weeding, raking, trimming, snow shoveling), minor repairs and painting, lifting/moving equipment and furniture, heavy scrubbing, waxing and buffing, cleaning and maintaining sprinklers/exhaust system/filters, and attending in-service education. Education: high school diploma or equivalent preferred; must have a valid driver’s license with no restrictions.
