Maintenance Assistant

Maintenance Assistant at Claiborne Senior Living supports daily upkeep, safety, and the appearance of a senior living community. You’ll assist with routine maintenance and repair of building systems, support preventative maintenance, and perform minor plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry tasks. You’ll complete work orders, maintain grounds, common areas, and equipment, follow safety and OSHA guidelines, assist with emergency repairs, and help maintain organized maintenance records. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 years of maintenance or facilities experience, basic knowledge of building systems, strong problem-solving and detail orientation, dependability, the ability to work independently, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs with flexibility for occasional emergencies.
