Job Summary
Maintenance Assistant responsible for supervising the community safety program, maintaining a secure resident home and running environment, and performing preventative and repairs across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and kitchen equipment. Duties include completing maintenance requests (scheduled and emergency), repairing/installing minor equipment, maintaining water heaters/furnaces/air conditioners, plumbing systems, exterior duties, and conducting fire and disaster drills, while engaging with residents in a compassionate, supportive manner in line with organizational values.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or GED equivalent required
- Experience in HVAC systems and/or electrical required
- Prior Senior living experience desired
- Demonstrates exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
