Job Summary
Conduct daily janitorial and maintenance tasks inside the clubhouse, offices, and locker rooms, while performing daily cleaning and upkeep of tennis courts and surrounding grounds. Manage all outdoor facility maintenance, including snow removal, raking, and trash collection, and ensure all equipment remains operational, clean, and safe. Perform hands-on duties such as floor washing, waxing, dusting, and restocking supplies, while maintaining a safe work environment by identifying hazards and reporting equipment issues. This full-time position requires weekend availability and strenuous physical activity, including lifting up to 50 lbs. and working both indoors and outdoors.
Required Qualifications
- Valid NYS Driver's License
- Reliable transportation to travel to several locations throughout the workday
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs
- Ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body, arms and/or legs
- Ability to use your abdominal and lower back muscles to support part of the body repeatedly or continuously over time without 'fatiguing'
- Ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong
- Ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers /solutions
- Ability to communicate information verbally and in writing so that others will understand
- Ability to develop constructive and cooperative work relationships with others and maintain them over time
- Ability to use both fine and gross motor skills
- Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors
- Ability to shovel in cold, damp snow and rain
- Ability to rake

Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of maintaining hard and clay tennis courts
- Basic Knowledge of Electrical and Plumbing
