Job Summary
Maintenance Assistant performs general maintenance on a daily basis for Round Rock community, including repairs to plumbing, electrical, and appliance issues; conducts light bulb walk-arounds and inspections to ensure operability of public areas; handles HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and kitchen equipment maintenance; maintains organization of storage and equipment areas; conducts painting projects for common and office areas; supports residents and team with timely maintenance responses using the work-order system; emphasizes safety and hazard reduction. Candidates should have experience in janitorial/maintenance work and familiarity with minor repairs across building systems; knowledge of safety practices and building systems is helpful.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in janitorial/maintenance work preferred; familiarity with techniques of minor repair and maintenance for structural, electrical, plumbing, security and heating and cooling systems required.
