Job Summary
Maintenance Assistant to support the Plant Operations Director with the maintenance and repair program for Solaris HealthCare facilities, including buildings and grounds. Coordinate maintenance activities with other departments, adhere to federal/state/local standards and Solaris policies, and participate in ongoing educational programs. Requires AHCA Clearinghouse background screening; on-site work environment with exposure to health-care settings, potential hazardous materials, and occasional extended hours. Responsibilities emphasize maintenance planning, basic plumbing/electrical tasks, team collaboration, leadership, safety, and communication with residents, families, and staff.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Florida AHCA Clearinghouse background screening
- Experience in Healthcare Industry preferred
- Nursing home experience preferred
- Basic plumbing and electrical experience preferred
