Job Summary
Maintenance Assistant role supporting the Plant Operations Director with the maintenance and repair program for buildings and grounds, coordinating maintenance activities with other departments, and ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, and local standards and Solaris HealthCare policies.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to read, speak and understand English
- Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 pounds to a minimum height of 5 feet and be able to carry that weight a minimum distance of 50 feet; lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Experience in healthcare industry a plus
- Knowledge of basic plumbing and electrical work is preferred
- Must meet general health requirements and be able to work beyond normal hours or on weekends as needed
- Must be a supportive team member and able to supervise other personnel
