Job Summary
Maintenance Assistant responsible for grounds keeping across properties (grass mowing, trimming, tree cutting, brush and debris removal, snow and ice removal, using power wash equipment) ~70% of time, and maintenance requests/support to the maintenance team ~30%. Requires a High School Diploma or GED, ability to pass drug screen and DOT Physical, valid driver’s license with a safe driving record, knowledge of safe work methods, ability to handle lifting and outdoor work in varying weather, experience with building maintenance or trades preferred, basic computer skills (email, timesheet entry, ticketing system) and GPS familiarity; ability to perform physical labor including climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 30 pounds (and over 30 pounds in some cases). Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Ability to pass a drug screen, background check and DOT Physical
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
- Knowledge of safe work methods with the ability to pull trailers and load/unload equipment safely
- Any combination of education, training, and experience which demonstrates ability to perform the duties and responsibilities as described
