Job Summary
Maintenance Assistant in Senior Living: Maintain and operate building systems (HVAC, emergency systems, elevators, landscaping), perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and repair, monitor inspections and vendor contracts, assist with renovations, and transport/assist residents to appointments. Requires a high school diploma/GED and at least 2 years in a similar role; advanced training in electrical, mechanical, and technical building systems preferred. On-site schedule is Monday–Friday, 9:00 am–5:00 pm with on-call hours; physical ability to perform manual work and drive residents as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- At least 2 year(s) prior experience in a similar maintenance position
- Advanced training in electrical, mechanical, and technical building systems and equipment preferred
